Bio
I have a bad case of wanderlust. For many years, I self-medicated with lots of traveling in Europe, the Middle-East and Africa. I worked as a producer for CBS NEWS, then CNN and then - and now - as a freelance documentary film maker - specializing in investigative films - for Arte, Al Jazeera, France 5, Channel 4 and many others. Over the years, I've collected a few awards (a couple of Emmys French decorations too) and wonderful experiences in the process. I've "covered" the world.
The treatment worked a while.
These days I mostly travel on my bicycle within the confines of New York City, nursing locally, the powerful urge to take pictures. I celebrate this city, put the moment on a pedestal, hone and whet my eye and my mind in the most pleasant way I know.
I wonder, always wonder, about the gift of the present.
My dream is to be a nomad. In the meantime, I "dis-cover" the world. One day, one frame at a time.
